October - Horse Show and Open Day

We are pleased to announce that we had yet another very successful Open Day at Johnson Bros and Andy Tack on 3rd October, with over 1,000 visitors.  Not only were we very lucky with the weather but on this occasion we combined the day for the first time with a horse show and both events proved to be extremely popular. Andy Tack had a sale with special offers on lots of items, and people were queueing out of the door to pay for their bargains. Representatives from all of the major feed companies joined us for the day and gave advice on all aspects of feeding and supplements for maintaining a healthy horse during the forthcoming winter. We also had our first horse show on this site, with many different events including both Show Jumping and Dressage. We plan to hold more shows in 2010, so please revisit this page to check for up and coming dates. Finally, we would like to thank everybody that helped to make the day such a success, we couldn't have done it without you.

Our New Foal

We have another beautiful new foal who was born this year.  His name is Henry, and the pictures show him with him Mum. Don't forget to visit this page again for more pictures as he grows up.

April Open Day

Johnson Brothers and Andy Tack would like to thank our customers, both existing and new who attended our second major open day. Despite a cold day over 700 people attended with many customers enjoying a bargain at the 50% off tack sale on selected items.

We had great support from the main feed companies who were giving away free samples and money off vouchers, and there was also a very good tack cleaning demonstration from Carr Day & Martin, who also told us that their products are really effective on leather jackets, sofas and chairs as well.

Both Johnson Brothers and Andy Tack are looking forward to expanding both the feed and tack side of our business over the coming year to provide a wider choice and a bigger range of goods and equipment. So please give us a ring or come and visit us, whatever you are looking for, if we haven't already got it in stock we will order it in for you.

Look out for our next open day, at the end of the summer. It will be bigger better and there will be more to see. For those people who had difficulty parking this time, please accept our apologies but be reassured that we already have plans under way to improve this and also to make access easier for the next event.
